Acqua di Parma, a century-old perfume brand originating from Italy, was founded in 1916 by Count Girolamo Magnani. The brand's name, "Parma Water," is derived from the Parma region of Italy, which is also the birthplace of the brand. Starting as a small factory, Girolamo Magnani's initial goal was to create exquisite men's cologne. He successfully developed the first Colonia cologne, which quickly became the brand's flagship product and laid a solid foundation for Acqua di Parma.
